2. Post Basic General Nursing
3. Post Basic Midwifery

I. OAUTHC BASIC GENERAL NURSING

This is a three-year programme commencing in October, 2021

Requirements

• Applicants must possess: WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He or she should be at least sixteen (16) years old on admission.

Method of Application

• Application forms are obtainable from the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife at a cost of Seven Thousand Naira (N7,000.00) only.

Mode of Examination

The examination will be Computer Based Test.

Closing Date

Completed application form should be returned to the office of the Principal, Schools of Nursing, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife and Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa respectively on or before Wednesday, 17^th June, 2021.

Date of Entrance Examination

Entrance examination shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee between Friday 19^th June, 2021.

II. OAUTHC POST BASIC GENERAL NURSING

This is an eighteen-month programme commencing in March, 2021

Requirements

• Applicants must:
  1. Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  2. Be a registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
  3. Have at least one year post registration working experience.

Method of Application

III. OAUTHC POST BASIC MIDWIFERY

This is an eighteen-month programme commencing in September, 2021

Requirements

• Applicants must:
  1. Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  2. Possess Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.

This is a twelve-month programme commencing in November, 2021

Requirements

• Applicants must:
  1. Possess credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two (2) sittings.
  2. Possess Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.
